sciatica stretches for pain relief

Sciatica pain symptoms may vary depending if the nerve root is irritated. Pain can be felt at different levels, which is determined by where the nerve is affected.
Symptoms of the disorder are pain in the buttocks or the rear part of the thigh, going down to the knee or lower leg. Pain in the area of the buttocks or the back of the thigh can be worse than low back pain that also comes with this disorder. Moderate or severe pain can be felt from the hip, traveling along the leg or foot. Sciatica usually starts with lower back pain, followed by hip or leg pain a few days or weeks later.

Pain in the thigh becomes more severe than the lower back pain.  In certain cases the lower back pain will disappear completely.  It is not uncommon to see someone with sciatica symptoms with no back pain at all.

With sciatica, chronic pain is usually concentrated in the buttocks and the back of the thigh, not on the lower leg or foot, although it may have been at the early stages of the disorder.
There are many specific physical disturbances or injuries that may cause sciatica.  Severe pain may become aggravated by, sitting, standing, lifting heavy objects, or even coughing and sneezing. Lying down may sometimes give temporary relief, but lying for too long may make it worse.
Sciatica symptoms usually affect only one side of the body, not both. The pain is sometimes dull, sharp, burning, and it can be replaced by irregular shocks, or shooting pain in the buttocks, hips and back. There might even be some tingling or numbness in the legs. It may be very difficult and painful to get up or sit down, not to mention walking around or doing chores around the house. The pain can increase by going up steps or even by coughing and sneezing.
One of the common symptoms can be compared with what occurs during severe thigh or leg cramps, such as severe pain in the lower back, buttocks and legs.
Sciatica symptoms can range from ruthless and disabling pain to mild and annoying.  For some sufferers it may be a meek nuisance, while for others, it may severely affect their lifestyle.  Some women get their sciatic nerve inflamed during pregnancy.  That makes it even harder to have such pain and being pregnant.  Living with sciatica pain is never easy, but with the right help it can be done.  As soon as you develop symptoms of sciatica nerve pain, it is important to apply the right remedies, as soon as possible.
