Robert De Niro

Casino is a 1995 crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese. It stars Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone, and was released in theaters on November 22, 1995. The film is based on the book Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas by Nicholas Pileggi.

Sam "Ace" Rothstein is a Jewish American gambling expert who is hired by the Chicago Outfit to run the Tangiers casino in Vegas. He is unofficially in charge of the casino, but his bosses don't mind his Control Freak style of operation.

He has a relationship with Ginger McKenna, an old-school mobster who is not averse to manipulating him. As Sam's marriage crumbles, his position with Ginger starts to fade away.

Nicky Santoro is a friend of Sam's. He is a good earner and an accomplished thief. But he is also functionally loyal. This makes him an easy target for Marino, who becomes concerned when he delivers envelopes to Nicky.

Another gangster is Nicky's childhood friend, Remo Gaggi. He is a gangster who runs the Chicago Outfit. Despite his criminal activities, he has a loving relationship with his son.

In the early 1980s, the Mafia had a substantial stake in Las Vegas. However, the mafia didn't really rule town. They used fronts to get men in to run everything.

Sam "Ace" Rothstein (De Niro) is sent by the Chicago Outfit to oversee the Tangiers Casino in Vegas. As he starts to realize how much money the casino is worth, he comes up with a scheme to keep the whale.

The film follows the lives of several people who control gangsters and the world of gambling in Las Vegas. It is more violent than Goodfellas, but has almost no lighter moments.
Joe Pesci

Casino is a 1995 crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese. It is based on the non-fiction book by Nicholas Pileggi called Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas. The screenplay was co-written by Scorsese and Pileggi.

Sam "Ace" Rothstein (Robert De Niro) is a gambling expert who works for the Chicago Outfit. He is sent to Vegas to oversee the operation of the Tangiers casino-hotel. In the beginning, Sam is successful. His gambling skills double the casino's profits. However, he faces difficulties with his loose-cannon enforcer Nicky Santoro.

As Sam's personal life begins to break down, he becomes increasingly manipulative. Ginger McKenna (Sharon Stone) is the woman he loves. They have a daughter. But her relationship with Sam slowly breaks down.

Sam's enemies include corrupt politicians, corrupt cops and mob bosses. Sam is also embroiled in a war with the Nevada State Gaming Commission.

Casino was released on November 22, 1995. It is distributed by Universal Pictures. Although it has almost no light moments, it is an impressive and violent movie.

Joe Pesci, as Nicky, is a dead-ringer for Tony Spilotro. Spilotro is a real-life mob enforcer who was banned from casinos in 1979.

Sharon Stone, as Ginger, earned an Academy Award nomination for her role. She wore 40 different costumes. Her performance was praised by viewers.

Other characters in the film include Artie Piscano, a Kansas City mafia boss. James Woods plays Lenny Marmor, a high school love.

The plot details the rise and fall of Sam's personal life as well as the operations of the Tangiers Casino. In fact, this movie has more stomach-churning killings than Goodfellas.

Almost every tough character has a weakness. Even Superman has one.
Sharon Stone

The Casino movie was made in 1995 and it was directed by Martin Scorsese. It also starred Robert De Niro, James Woods, and Joe Pesci. Despite its flaws, it's still a must-see.

While there are plenty of duds in the Casino movie, there are some standouts. Sharon Stone's performance is truly the best of the bunch. She steals the show in a variety of ways, including in her wardrobe and hair, and her performance is more than just a match for the likes of Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.

The film is loosely based on the life of mobster Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal. He was the head of four casinos in Las Vegas for the Chicago Outfit. Sadly, he died of a heart attack after the FBI found mob records in his home. Interestingly, he married Geraldine Marmor. Their son was named Steven.

Ginger McKenna is the secondary antagonist in the Casino movie. Obviously, this was a clever name for a female character in a Scorsese movie.

Although the movie did not make Stone a star, it did give her the opportunity to showcase her acting prowess. In fact, she's appeared in 115 movies since it's release. But it was her performance in the Casino movie that remains her crown jewel.

There are a lot of other things to see in the Casino movie, including Joe Pesci's performance as the loose cannon enforcer Nicky Santoro. However, it's Sharon Stone's performance as Ginger that really shines.

Not only did she win the Golden Globe for the best performance in the Casino movie, she was also nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in the movie. 겜블시티 불법

Casino is a 1995 crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone. The plot involves a gambling expert and gambler named Sam "Ace" Rothstein (De Niro) who runs a Las Vegas casino for the Chicago Outfit.

Ginger McKenna, played by Sharon Stone, is the wife of Sam "Ace" Rothstein. They have a daughter together. But their relationship soon starts to crumble.

Ginger has a bad reputation. Her ex-husband is "The Brain" Arnold Rothstein, who engineered a 1919 Black Sox Scandal. She's also a low life who has dated a number of sleazy men.

Nicky Santoro, played by Joe Pesci, is a friend of Sam's. The two are feared by other wiseguys. And while Ginger has the appearance of a sleazy sociopath, her actions are more subtle.

In addition to Sam and Ginger, the movie also has other characters. It is loosely based on real people. One is a state senator. Another is an FBI informant. Lastly, there is a mafia boss in Kansas City.

The movie also features the "whale" high-stakes game. This is a gimmick to get back at the casino owners for their lousy service.

Among other things, the movie also features a fake airplane breakdown that keeps the whale from leaving the casino with its winnings. Also, there's the black book.

Casino has many references to real-life Mafia bosses. There are 14 names in the black book.

The movie also traces Sam's operation of the Tangiers Casino. Several ex-cheats are recruited to watch for foul play. Eventually, the FBI contacts Sam. Despite his ego, he makes money for the bosses.

Aside from the good and the bad, the movie is a box office success. Even though it's not a biographical depiction of a real person, it shows how a modern casino can be run.
