Repaired, Reconstituted, or New - How Should You Buy Your Power Tools?

New power tools can be expensive. But is buying them used really a good idea? Here's a look at the issues.

New tools. New power tools can cost hundreds of dollars. But when you buy them, you replace your old one immediately-and you don't hold up work.

If the manufacturer uses the same parts, the tool could break again. Batteries, blades, and other parts that experience wear and tear could not be replaced during the process. It's also possible, though rare, that your refurbished tool would have some parts missing.
